TRAILER DELIVERY & PICK UP TERMS:
Customer is required to PICK UP Trailer on the arranged date with the Authorised Outlet.
You may require temporary registration permit to pick up your trailer (see your state’s registration requirement).
The Authorised Outlet may offer Registration Check Services.
Monday to Friday Only.
Customer MUST Collect the Trailer on the Arranged Date - daily storage fee shall apply for late pick ups.

TRAILER CHASSIS 4x3, 6x4, 8x4, & 13x3 will be complete and ready to tow away from Selected Cities/Authorised Outlets.
Trailer does NOT include any on-road and/or Registration Costs.
Select Location to PICK UP when adding Trailer Chassis to Cart, Carlex shall confirm your nearest location.

TRAILER ACCESSORIES such as spare wheel, sides, floor, etc, are delivered flat packed and are picked up with the complete trailer chassis. Fitments of Accessories is done by the Customer.

3. If Customer fails to Collect from Depot, Goods are Returned to SA Depot, Costs Apply

All Trailer Orders are collected from selected Authorised Outlets Only.
All Accessory Orders (without Trailer) are delivered door to door Australia Wide.

Transport Tracking Number is confirmed on Dispatch.

RESPONSIBILITY
CUSTOMER is responsible for Registration in their State.

VEHICLE LIABILTY
As per the RVSA 2018, the Vehicle Owner MUST NOT Modify, Weld, or Substitute any part and/or component from the original specifications. The Vehicle Owner is responsible for all liability and costs if the Vehicle is modified and/or used outside the limitations of the Vehicle Specifications. Carlex and its Agents shall NOT be liable for any unauthorised works, parts, and/or modifications. This may result in your Vehicle being re-called at the cost of the Vehicle Owner.
The Vehicle Owner MUST maintain and use the Vehicle safely and within Vehicle Limits.

THE EASY TRAILER LIMITED 12 MONTH WARRANTY

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Carlex warrants the purchaser, subject to the following conditions and limitations, that the Easy Trailer Product is free from defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is effective for the following periods from the original date of purchase, unless the Easy Trailer Product is used for business, commercial, institutional, industrial, rental or income-producing purposes, in which case this warranty shall be effective for three months from the original date of purchase.  Warranty is not Transferable to any other Party During the Warranty Period.

Warranty Begins on the Delivery Date of the Product, and expires 3-12 months depending on the product use mentioned herewith. Warranty does not cover any Third Party Freight or Delivery Services and are Non Refundable.

All claims must be received by Carlex in writing during the term of this warranty. Carlex’s obligation under this warranty is the repair or replacement, at its option, by an approved Easy Trailer Specialist of any part found to be defective in material or workmanship. Any Labour costs involved in the repair or replacement are not Covered. The decision to repair or replace the defective components will be made by Carlex and is actioned by an approved Easy Trailer Service Centre.

Except as expressly provided in the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993, the Trade Practices Act 1974, or protection provided by laws of the place, state or country of purchase, this Easy Trailer Warranty is personal to the purchaser.

1.     Any consequential, indirect or special damages of any nature whatever nor for any loss of profits, economic loss or any similar form of damage. Unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
2a.     Defects, malfunctions or failures caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, accidental damage or failure to follow the manufacturers operating and maintenance instructions, or resulting from repairs or modifications to the equipment carried out by unauthorised persons. Information as to the use, servicing, assembly, and maintenance of this Easy Trailer product is set out in the Pre-delivery and assembly instructions. Carlex has no responsibility for any representations concerning the Easy Trailer product not authorised by it and bearing the Carlex Easy Trailer and/or Manufacturers name.
2b.   Failure to Maintain & Service Product as per Manufacturer's Guidelines and resulting Failures and/or Corrosion as a consequence.
3.     Defects, malfunctions or failures caused by an act or omission of other persons after the product has left Carlex’s control.
4a.   Corrosion, painted and/or electroplated finishes (including any Galvanised or any Special Finishes).
        # Formply Finishes and Timber Finishes are not covered by warranty.
        # Warranty does not cover scratches from transport, delivery, or customer handling of the product during assembly.
        # Warranty does not cover paint imperfections from unforseen production processes.
4b.   Any Use within or near or object carried by product in or from a Corrosive Environment, Salt Water and or Brine, and/or Soft Water, and/or Beach and/or Coastal Environments.
4c.   Paint and/or electroplated finish tooling marks, scratches, and or other markings resulting from tools used during assembly by any third party assembly labour services.
5.     All Freight Costs of collection and delivery of the products. Except as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1983.
6.     Light Globes
7.     Tyres Normal Wear & Tear & Bearings Normal Wear & Tear
8.     Any Non-Genuine Easy Trailer Parts fitted to product
9.     Labour Costs inc Third Party Assembly Labour or Service Costs.
10.   Third Party Freight Product Losses, Theft, Damage, Delivery Fees and Delivery Charges from Third Party Carriers.
11.   Any and All Separate Spare Parts Orders, NO Refund, NO Warranty.

WARRANTY IS VOID if Failure to obtain a Safety Check prior to Registering, and Registering a Trailer for use on any Australian Road for the first time. Using your Trailer on roads without a Safety Check & Registration voids warranty/liability to the Manufacturer, Agent, Distributor and/or Seller.
       
CONSUMER GUARANTEE NOTE:
Except as set out in this Easy Trailer Warranty, Carlex shall have no other liability to any party with respect to the Easy Trailer products (for negligence or otherwise), and all conditions and warranties implied by law, custom or otherwise are excluded, except, in each case, as required by law. Any rights which a purchaser has under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Australian Trade Practices Act 1974 apply in addition to the rights the purchaser has under this warranty, and nothing in this warranty is intended to limit or affect the purchaser’s rights and remedies under these Acts or any consumer legislation of the place, state or country or purchase. Carlex only warrants the supply of spare parts for the product (Trailer Only) will be available, for the period of this warranty, and no longer.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE (CONTACT CARLEX DIRECTLY FOR ALL ENQUIRES)

You will need the following to obtain Warranty Service:
1.     Email Detailed Photos, Receipt Number, Name, and Description of any Issue or Concern to sales@easytrailer.com.au
2.     Carlex will assess the Claim & May Request to Make the faulty part(s) available for inspection by Carlex and/or the manufacturer so that the validity of the claim can be established by them. Post the defective parts to the above address at cost of customer. Normal postage charges will only be accepted on grant of warranty service and customer will be reimbursed the postage charges on grant of warranty service. 
3.     Warranty repair will be completed according to normal work practices of the Service Centre, and all Claims will be assessed on a case to case basis.
4.     If Not deemed to be a Warranty, the Claim will be rejected and any costs incurred during the claim which includes any freight and/or delivery costs, packaging, and other services shall be recovered at the customers cost.
5.    Carlex shall, authorise only in writing, accept Return / Refund of Product if Returned in its Original Packaging and of Re-Sellable Condition. Cost of Delivery to Customer and Cost of Return Freight to Carlex is strictly at the Customers Cost. A 15% Re-Stocking Fee Applies to all RETURNS plus cost of any missing part or item from the product or whole item at invoiced cost of whole item or part cost of missing parts.
6.    Carlex shall not accept any Return on any unpackaged item and/or once Trailer is Registered in your State. Carlex shall not Refund any product based on personal opinion of finishes or product performance or product design or change of mind.
7.   Carlex does not warrant or refund individual spare parts, the owner is solely responsible for identification & installation.

Carlex Easy Trailer will not be liable for any Storage, Return Freight, Re-Delivery,   Carlex Easy Trailer will not be liable for any Storage, Return Freight, Re-Delivery,   of any Order Delivery in the event that a Customer is not present during the delivery. - Carlex Easy Trailer will not be liable for any refund or return of goods purchased, without specific written approval from Carlex Pty Ltd, that does not suit your application &/or the   application exceeds the capability of the products.- Carlex reserves the right to cancel any order if deems to be fraudulent, non-genuine, or dishonest gain,and/or not suitable for the Consumers Intended Purpose, or failure of the Consumer meeting Third Party Carrier Delivery Requirements. Trailer Chassis is fully compliant & ready to Register in any State of Australia.
